Software QA and Test Services //

We have developed our Metisure© framework to engender total confidence in clients by providing comprehensive support across all the component areas of software quality and testing. The framework provides the reference structure for delivering our range of Quality and Testing Services. These range from strategic services such as Client Quality Capability Assessments designed to define high level Quality Roadmaps and put them in place, to providing full testing support for individual change projects.

The framework is designed to deliver standardised testing services through the change lifecycle, from the definition of the Quality Strategy at Programme/Project initiation, through the development of estimates and budgets, Test Planning, Test execution, Implementation Support and Post Implementation reviews. This encompasses the planning and management of the required key phases of testing (Factory Acceptance, Functional Pre-Acceptance, Functional, Business/User Acceptance, Performance, Security, Operational Acceptance) and support for the planning, development and management of Test Automation.

Engagement Model //

Services are delivered on a client site by a dedicated team of Metis7 professionals. 

We offer a variety of engagement models to meet client needs. These range from fixed cost models where delivery to agreed scope and timelines is guaranteed to Time and Material based assignments. 

In situations where Metis7 is partnered with a client and leads out on defined activities we are in a better position to add value for clients in terms of increasing quality delivery and reducing cost.  In these situations Metis7 carries the resourcing risk – we commit to finding the right people at the right time to deliver the assignment.  We also commit to optimising resource usage in consultation with the client and through the programme processes.  We will adjust resource mobilisation dynamically in response to project challenges.

The Metisure© framework can be used in a prescriptive manner to drive quality and testing or as a reference framework to complement client quality frameworks to ensure a “best of both worlds” scenario to optimise the likelihood of a successful quality project outcome.

We seek to partner with clients using the following guiding principles:-

Testing recognised as an independent specialist competency with Metis7 providing services and resources to client
Metis7 are responsible for agreed QA/Test activities across the change lifecycle in line with the Metisure© framework and the clients SDLC process.
Metis7 will operate to industry best practice standards and will use our Metisure© framework to achieve this
Metis7 will be responsible for delivering end to end delivery of QA/Test Services to clients ensuring the solution is fit for purpose per client requirements
Metis7 will ensure that the agreed QA and test process and activities are followed and will report status to client change governance structures

IMPROVE - Process Improvement Process

A framework must continually evolve in response to changes in industry practice, the introduction of new tools and techniques, and experience gained and lessons learnt in the use of the framework across successive projects.  The purpose of a Process Improvement Process is to have a systematic, consistent and managed approach to assessing, accepting and implementing changes to a framework.

As a framework is used by a community of practice it must be changed with their involvement and in a defined manner understood by all.  Equally it must be updated regularly but not so frequently that the community that uses it gets confused.
